Charts Add-on - Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies specifically to the "Charts" Google Workspace Add-on provided by Bilgu.

Our add-on requires access to specific Google Workspace scopes to function:

• Current Document Only (.currentonly): The add-on only has access to the specific Google Sheet or Google Slide document you actively use the add-on within. We do not have access to any other files in your Google Drive.
• Sidebar UI (script.container.ui): Used to display the user interface inside Google applications.

The "Charts" Add-on's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We do not share, transfer, or sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
• We do not use your data to train AI or machine learning models.

All chart generation and data processing happens entirely within the context of your browser and the Google Apps Script environment. We do not send your spreadsheet data to our external servers.

We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following protections:

• No server-side storage: Your spreadsheet and presentation data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. All processing occurs locally within Google's own infrastructure via the Apps Script runtime.
• Minimal permissions: The add-on operates under Google's .currentonly permission scope, which is the most restrictive scope available. It is technically impossible for the add-on to access any document other than the one you are actively working in.
• Google infrastructure: Since all execution happens within Google Apps Script, your data benefits from Google's own enterprise-grade security standards, encryption, and access controls.
• No third-party data sharing: We do not transmit, sell, or share any information accessed through the add-on with any third-party service, advertiser, or data broker.

Because the "Charts" add-on does not collect or store any user data on external servers, our data retention policy is simple:

• No data retained: We do not collect, store, or retain any of your spreadsheet data, presentation data, or personal information on our systems. There is nothing to delete on our end.
• Session-only access: The add-on's access to your document is scoped entirely to your active session. Once you close the sidebar or the document, the add-on loses all access.
• Revoking access: You can revoke the add-on's permissions at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing the "Charts" add-on. This instantly terminates all access.
• Uninstalling: You can uninstall the add-on at any time from the Google Workspace Marketplace or from the "Manage apps" section in your Google Workspace settings.
